Meet Darren Tooles and Mason Nelson, current members of music super group Day 1's and Illsound Records recording company owners. These gentlemen do a majority of their own production to bring out the zest in their lyrical capabilities. Not only can they produce, but Tooles has received a degree for engineering by the Extreme Institute by Nelly.

 

These two artists formed the power house group Day 1's in the East St. Louis area in 2015. They are bringing the sauce to the table; with their signature sound they set themselves apart from EVERYONE in the industry. They are gaining popularity with the music community and are trending on social media networks. Though currently they are underfunded the Day 1's are making the best out of their situation and are pushing forward into the hearts of all the music lovers across the nation.
